Thousands of people descended on Harrisdale last Friday night to appreciate plenty of local talent and whet their appetites with cuisines from around the world.
Dubbed Friday Night Bites, the free event was a hive of activity with about 2000 people turning out for the event under the stars.
Event organiser Emily Lewien said there was something for everyone including the four-legged furry kind of friend.
“We had 20 food trucks there serving everything from Asian, Mexican and Italian to gluten free and vegan options.
“We had face painting and balloon twisting and plenty of other events to keep the young ones happy,” she said.
“It was a really successful night offering people of all ages a chance to sit down and relax before the start of the long weekend and the school holiday break.”
Friday Night Bites will be held at Sheaf Way in Harrisdale every fortnight until February.
