Last weekend’s woolly weather did little to dampen the spirit of showgoers who came in their thousands for this year’s Kelmscott Show.
Held on October 19 and 20 at Rushton Park Showgrounds, the 120th show was a huge success with things to do for everyone young or old.
Kelmscott Agricultural Society publicity and marketing officer Ted Watts said Friday night’s entertainment, which included a motocross display and a fireworks spectacular drew large crowds while the drizzly weather on Saturday did little to deter the crowds.
“I thought it was a fantastic weekend and those that didn’t turn up this year missed out on a great event,” he said.
“We had everything from animal exhibitions and awards, to milking demonstrations, a flower pavilion and the return of the talent quest Kelmscott Idol.
“Thank you to all involved who made it a huge success.”
The Kelmscott Show was sponsored by Examiner Newspapers.
