Thousands of people came together last weekend to celebrate the delicious food that everyone loves to smash.
About 2000 avocado lovers travelled through the gates of Araluen Botanic Park for Perth’s only two-day Avocado Festival to enjoy all facets of the fabulous fruit.
The program featured live music, entertainment, cooking demonstrations and stalls serving up a variety of green delights. City of Armadale mayor Henry Zelones said he was pleased to see the event return to Araluen this year.
“The festival celebrating the delicious fruit is a drawcard for visitors across Perth to the City of Armadale,” he said.
