Children of all ages lined the streets of Bedfordale at the weekend eagerly awaiting the arrival of volunteers from the local fire brigade.
Bedfordale Bush Fire Brigade held its fifth annual Easter egg run on April 21 which saw three fire trucks drive through the estate to deliver chocolate eggs to excited children.
Social and fundraising committee coordinator Gary Vince said about 100 children turned up at some point along the pre-planned route.
“We had nine members turn out this year giving up their time for the run,” he said.
“The highlight is definitely seeing all the children’s faces when they receive the eggs and other goodies.
“The brigade would like to thank the community for supporting the event and we look forward to many more.”
